Against an overcast sky, the crown of a soot-dark tower is finely carved, and beyond it a gilded spire catches light through a break in the clouds. The deeper the black, the more a little gold can do.
朱色の煉瓦に灰色の石彫りが重なり、その中心に金と深い紫の扉が収まっています。上部の彫刻は細部まで込み入っていますが、色は三つほどに絞られています。だからこそ、金の線が遠目にも際立ちます。

Grey carved stone is layered over vermilion brick, and at its center sits a door of gold and deep purple. The carving above is intricate, yet the palette is held to about three colors. That restraint is what lets the gold lines stand out even from a distance.
