Dragon carved bowl with legs

This bowl with legs is very gorgeous, with gold and Kutani-like colors such as red and green.

Since it is a period pot with legs, it is thought to have been used as a sake cup washer.

The age is unknown.

The outside is decorated with birds crossing the sea, and the inside is boldly carved with dragons, making it a very unusual and interesting item. Both the inside and outside are richly and finely painted.

The inside is also decorated with patterns and carvings, so it can be used as an objet d'art as it is, but it is also very nice as a bowl to hold fruit or other items.

There is a slight crack on the back of the bowl, but I do not think it is a problem for use as a bowl. Please check the photos.

It is a very attractive item that can be placed on a table or shelf.

Size; diameter (top) 15.5 cm x height approx. 11 cm
