Japanese home decors by traditional craftmanship
Let's discover their charms
A number of wonderful tea sets for export made in the Meiji era.
At NORTA, you can purchase from one item, not a set, so that you can easily add it to your collection. Of course, you can also purchase it as a set.
Please spend an elegant time while looking at the wonderful patterns drawn by our predecessors and thinking about the historical background of the time.
Kutani vintage collection
Kutani Vintage Collection
Here, we would like to introduce some vintage ”Kutani” pieces since we feel they are beautiful from NORTA's own point of view. We hope that those who resonate with the beauty of these pieces from their own aesthetic sense will consider purchasing them.
* Please note that we do not provide professional appraisals for vintage items, unless otherwise specified.
! Please! Please understand that this is a vintage item and there may be stains from age, color grazing, small chips, black spots from firing, roughness on the bottom, etc., that do not affect the vessel. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Please understand that we do not accept returns of vintage items for the above reasons.
Vintage Japanese tea cup candle
Kutani Vintage teacup Candle
NORTA also offers candles made from vintage Kutani teacups.
Each of the items noted "a candle finish" can also be purchased as candles.
Why not light a candle in a vintage vessel and think about the craftsman who made the vessel and the period in which it was made?
After the candles are finished, they can be used as objets d'art, accessory cases, and so on.
(If used as a candle, we do not recommend using it for food or drinks.)
Want to use it as a candle again?
How about using the massage oil candle refill (selling separately)? The candle wick is also included in the set so you can make your own.
Please! Please! Please note that these candles are vintage and may have some uneven coloring or chips that do not affect them as vessels.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Please understand that we do not accept returns of vintage items for the above reasons.
